AMENDED NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a Public Hearing and its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the Gunnison City Hall, 34 East 100 North, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Local Building Authority Business 1) A public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of Lease Revenue Bonds in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $1,700,000, issued for the purpose of (i) financing the design and construction of a new City Hall in Gunnison City, and related improvements and (ii) paying the costs of issuing the Bonds, and the economic impact that the improvements proposed to be financed with the Bonds will have on the private sector. 2) A public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of Taxable Lease Revenue Bonds in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $800,000, issued for the purpose of (i) financing the design and construction of a new Fire Station in Gunnison City, and related improvements and (ii) paying the costs of issuing the Bonds, and the economic impact that the improvements proposed to be financed with the Bonds will have on the private sector. Council Business 3) 8:00 p.m. - Proposed Approval of a Home Occupation Business License for Harmony Aromatherapy at 170 South 200 West – Amy Lapierre 4) Division of Water Quality – New State Sewer Permit Requirements – Paul Krauth and Roger Foisy 5) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for July 15, 2009 6) Proposed Approval of a Gunnison Valley Volunteer Fire Department Interlocal Cooperation Agreement – For Fire Protection Services Agreement 7) Grant Opportunity as Tree City USA to Replace Dead Cottonwood Trees at Park 8) Proposed Approval of a Storage Building for Valley Furniture/Builders located at 310 North Main Street 9) Identification of Issues to be Included on Future Agendas 10) Bills and Adjustments 12) Closed Session 13) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order.
