NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center, which meeting shall begin at 7:00 p.m. 1) Proposed Approval of City Council Meeting Minutes for June 18 & August 4, 2008 2) Proposed Approval of Ordinance 2008-3 –Smoking Prohibited in City Park, Cemetery and Recreational Areas 3) Proposed Approval of Ordinance 2008-4 -- Repeal Off Highway Vehicle Act- former Ordinance 2004-7 4) Proposed Approval of Resolution 2008-10 – Adopt Public Safety Retirement 4% COLA 5) Proposed Approval of Resolution 2008-11 – Adopt Subdivision Water Meter Setting Fees 6) Discussion of Tree City USA Ordinance 7) New Fire Station and Community Impact Board Funding Application 8) Main Street Beautification 9) Obstruction of City Right of Ways – Council Member Greener 10) Risk Management – Police Chief Blane Jensen 11) Identification of Issues to be Included on Future Agendas 12) Bills and Adjustments 13) Closed Session 14) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. Consideration of adjourning into a Closed Session pursuant to the Provisions of Section 52-4-5(1)(a) of the Open Meeting Law for the purpose of (i) discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; and (c) strategy sessions to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435) 528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
