Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE Farr West City The Farr West Council is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. -The Farr West City tax on a $223,000 residence would increase from $32.62 to $86.84, which is $54.22 per year. -The Farr West City tax on a $223,000 business would increase from $59.32 to $157.88 which is $98.56 per year. -If the proposed budget is approved, Farr West City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 165.49% above last year's proeprty tax bdugeted revenue excluding new growth. Farr West City property tax revenue from new growth and other sources will increase from $87,628 to $242,000. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
