ANNOUNCEMENTS: a. New Laws Take Effect: - New laws affecting club licensees will take effect on Wednesday, July 1st. The law amendments include: - the elimination of the membership requirement in social and dining clubs; and - the requirement for social and dining clubs to use an electronic ID scanner to verify the ages of all patrons who appear to be under 35 years of age. - The department has sent several notices of these law changes to club licensees. b. Holiday Closures: - State stores and package agencies will be closed on: - Saturday, July 4th (Independence Day). - State stores, package agencies, and the DABC warehouse will be closed on: - Friday, July 24th (Pioneer Day). - These holidays do not affect the operations of the administrative office which is closed on Fridays and Saturdays. 5.
