The Agenda will be as follows: PLANNING SESSION Please Note: The planning session is for identifying future items and other Council discussion in accordance with Utah Code 52-4-201(2) (a). While the meeting may be open to the public, there will not be any opportunity for public input during the Planning Session. REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING 1. Roll Call, Invocation and Pledge.* 2. CONSENT AGENDA: 2.1 Approval of the July 22, 2008 meeting minutes. 3. PUBLIC FORUM – (4 minute maximum per person to bring items not already on the agenda before the Council. Participants are encouraged to submit a written statement (1 copy) for items that are complex or that may require more than 4 minutes to present). 4. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration and vote on amendments to the Bluffdale City Subdivision Ordinance related to improvements and release of performance guarantee, Bluffdale City, applicant – staff presenter – Vaughn Pickell. 5. PUBLIC HEARING: Consideration and vote on amendments to Chapter 12.21 Residential Facilities for Elderly Persons or Persons with a Disability of the Bluffdale City Zoning Ordinance related to the allowable distance between facilities, Bluffdale City applicant – staff presenter – Vaughn Pickell. 6. Consideration and vote on a request for reduction of the roads and bridges impact fee for Derek Blaylock, located at 14699 South 800 West – staff presenter – Mark Reid. 7. Consideration and vote on a request from Pacific Bay subdivision for refund of previously-paid secondary water impact fees – staff presenter – Blain Dietrich. 8. Presentation and information regarding the 2nd quarter report from the Salt Lake County Sheriff Department – Captain Armand Glick. 9. Independence at Bluffdale development discussion on SID – presenter - Jason Burningham, Lewis, Young and Burningham. 10. Presentation and information regarding the quarterly report on Bluffdale City fire and ambulance service – staff presenter – Chief John Roberts. 11. Mayors Report. 12. City Manager’s Report and Discussion. 13. Closed Meeting pursuant to Utah Code § 52-4-205(1) to discuss litigation, property acquisition and the character and professional competence or physical or mental health of an individual (if needed). 14.
