A field trip is scheduled to leave the west parking lot of the Municipal Building at 4:00 p.m.
AGENDA
Canceled quorum
1. Approval of minutes of the March 28, 2013 meeting.
2. Ratification of Staff Approvals:
A. To replace existing concrete and install sod-block at the Amos & Eva Corey Home at 2601 Jefferson Avenue.
B. To replace the east rain-gutters and downspouts on the single-family home at 2507 Van Buren Avenue.
C. To repaint the trim on the single-family home at 2504 Eccles Avenue.
3. Certificate of Historic Appropriateness to have a metal projecting sign and install a wall sign on the New Brigham Building at 2402 Wall Avenue.
4. Certificate of Historic Appropriateness to install a new hanging front porch light on the Isadore and Selina Marks Home at 2547 Jefferson Avenue.
5. Certificate of Historic Appropriateness to install a new 6’ high cedar wood fence at the single-family home located at 2686 Jefferson Avenue.
6. Certificate of Historic Appropriateness to expand an outdoor dining area to the rear patio and adjacent sidewalk at the Frazzini Brothers Saloon building at 200-202 25th Street.
7. Certificate of Historic Appropriateness to do restoration and stabilization work and install a metal bracing system on the Rex Theatre building at 225 25th Street, Trout House at 227 25th Street, and vacant lot at 223 25th Street.
8. Discussion follow-up on assignments for actively identifying historically significant structures/sites and nominating them for the local registry.
9. Other Business
• Discuss Preservation Week events, scheduled for May 16, 2013 in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum.
