NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold a City Council Work Meeting along with its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center. The Work Meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the City Council Meeting following at approximately 8:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. Work Meeting: 1) Discuss Personnel Issues 2) Discuss and Review Organizational Structure 3) Review and Discuss Memorandum and Recommendations 4) Review Gunnison City Master Plan and Make Adjustments 5) Discuss Quarterly Newsletter to Citizens 6) Discuss Interlocal Agreement regarding Establishment of Valley-wide Recreation Dept. 7) Discuss Airport Maintenance Project and future plans 8) Set Goals for 2013 and Prioritize Jobs 9) Council Appointments 10) Closed Session 8:00 p.m. City Council Business: 1) Invocation 2) Public Comment 3) Update on Military Training within Gunnison City area - Paul Weddle, Exercise Coordinator for Special Ops Command 4) Proposed Approval of Airport Maintenance Project – Brian Jensen, Council 5) Proposed Approval for Part-time Consultant and Coordinator 6) Proposed Approval of Hiring Part-Time Police Officers - Chief Trent Halliday 7) Discuss Local Officials Day at the Legislature – Melissa Judy, Council 8) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 9) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, November 28, 2012, Open and Closed Sessions and Thursday, January 10, 2013 Open and Closed Sessions 10) Proposed Approval Bills and Adjustments 11) Closed Session 12) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
