Description/Agenda: Notice is hereby given that Wellsville City will hold a Municpal Election this fall to elect one candidate to serve a four year term as Mayor of Wellsville City, and two candidates to serve a four year terms on the Wellsville City Council. Persons desiring to be candidates for the 2013 Wellsville City Municipal Election must file a declaration of candidacy form or nomination petition between June 3, 2013 and June 17, 2013 at the City Recorder's Office, 75 East Main, Wellsville, Utah, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Candidates must meet the following qualifications: 1. Be a United States citizen; 2. Be a registered voter of the City; 3. Be a resident of Wellsville City for at least 365 consecutive days immediately preceding the date of the election; and 4. Not convicted of a felon, unless their right to hold elective office has been restored. The primary election, if necessary, will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 and the municipal election will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
