Description/Agenda: PUBLIC NOTICE Farr West City announces a vacancy in the office of Mayor due to the passing of Mayor Jimmie Papageorge thus creating a vacancy on October 22, 2012. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 20A-1-510, Farr West City hereby gives notice that the City Council will fill this vacancy at its regular City Council meeting to be held on the following date. Thursday, November 15th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Farr West City municipal office located at 1896 North 1800 West, Farr West City, Utah Applicants must be a registered voter of Farr West City and a resident of Farr West City for the preceding 12 months. Any qualified person interested in being considered for appointment to the position of Mayor may make application to Lindsay Stratford, City Recorder, at the Farr West City Office, 1896 North 1800 West, Farr West City, Utah. Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012. The selected applicant will fill the term which expires in January 2014.
