- NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Garland City Council will hold its regular City Council meeting on the 25th day of September 2012 at the Garland City Civic Center. Such meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. The Mayor reserves the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs. The agenda shall be as follows: 1. Call to order – Mayor Bennett 2. Invocation 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Vote to approve agenda 5. Approval of Minutes a. August 28, 2012 6. Requests for Future Agenda Items (Open Comments) 7. Ordinance, O-12-05, Amending Title 4 Chapter 1, Fire Department 10. Report of Officers, Boards & Committees a. Mayor Bennett b. Council Member Coleman – Water & Sewer c. Council Member Hughes – Public Safety/Wheat & Beet Days d. Council Member Miller – Planning & Zoning/Streets e. Council Member Shaw – Park/Mosquito Abatement/Facilities f.
