MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE CITY NOTICE AND AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the Marriott-Slaterville City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Municipal Complex, 1570 West 400 North. The meeting shall begin at 6:30 P.M. with the agenda as follows: CITY COUNCIL MEETING – THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2009 – 6:30 P.M. 1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Approval of minutes. 3. Business licenses: Hi-Tech Self Storage, 885 West 1200 South, Self Storage Facility. Bottom Line, 1554 South 1100 West, #2, Used Car Lot. 4. Arbor Day: a. Announce Tree City USA Award received. b. Volunteers needed for Planting Trees at Municipal Gardens on April 25. 5. Discussion/action Resolution 2009-D approving agreement with Weber County for the R.A.M.P. grant for the Marriott Park Bowery Project. 6. Discussion/action on the Park Committee recommendation to award bid and contract for the demolition and reconstruction of the Marriott Park Bowery with R.A.M.P. funds allotted to this project. 7. Annual Training in conjunction with Planning Commission: a. Utah Open and Public Meetings Act. b. Unlawful Discrimination and Harassment. c. Turn in old code books and brief review of the new code books. 8. Discussion/action on Resolution 2009-C adopting interlocal agreement with Central Weber Sewer Improvement District. 9. Project Updates: a. Acquisition and demolition of condemned home at 1359 West 700 South. b. Tentative budget planning. c. Emergency Management Training on May 13, 2009, at 6:30 PM. 10. Officer reports and legislative oversight. 11. Adjourn until April 16, 2009. CERTIFICATE OF POSTING AND NOTICE The undersigned, duly appointed City Recorder, does hereby certify that the above notice and agenda was sent via facsimile to the Ogden Standard-Examiner, emailed to Weber County, Ogden, Harrisville, Farr West, West Haven, Plain City, Bona Vista Water District, and Central Weber Sewer District. The notice and agenda was also posted with the Utah Public Meeting Notice Website Administrator, delivered to the mayor and councilors, and posted in three (3) public places within Marriott-Slaterville City on or about April 10, 2009. These public posting places being: 1) Municipal Complex, 2) Chevron on Pioneer Road, 3) America First at 12th & 12th. Items not meeting deadlines are omitted from the agenda.
