- Summit County Service Area #3 (Silver Creek Estates Subdivision, Summit County, Utah) Invitation to Bid Licensed contractors are invited to bid on the construction of a Trail to be built within the road right-of-way on the west side of Silver Creek Road pursuant to a grant to the Summit County Service Area #3 (“SA#3”) of $100,000.00 from the 2012 Recreation, Arts and Parks (RAP) Tax Recreation Board. The scope of this trail work will be to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment and insurance necessary for the design/build of a non-motorized, multi-use, soft surface trail approximately 2.7 miles long and four (4) feet wide which will be used for pedestrian and non-motorized travel, including walking, running, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, bikes and horses. The contractor shall be responsible for and have control over all construction means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures and for coordinating and overseeing all portions of the trail work, including coordinating the work and duties of all subcontractors and materials suppliers with its/their respective work. Sealed bids must be received by the Purchasing Agent for SA#3, addressed to Purchasing Agent, Summit County Service Area #3, 7215 North Silver Creek Road, Park City, Utah 84060, no later than 6:30 p.m., September 11, 2012, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud. SA#3 reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality or technicality deemed in the best interest of SA#3.
