- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE OQUIRRH RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT The OQUIRRH RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The OQUIRRH RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT tax on a $144,241 residence would increase from $92.50 to $105.43, which is $12.93 per year. - The OQUIRRH RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT tax on a $144,241 business would increase from $168.19 to $191.70 which is $23.51 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, OQUIRRH RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT would decrease its property tax budgeted revenue by -0.93% below last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth. OQUIRRH RECREATION AND PARKS DISTRICT property tax revenue from new growth and other sources will decrease from $2,412,676 to $2,391,034. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
