NOTICE AND AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gunnison City Council will hold its regularly scheduled City Council Meeting Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. 1) Invocation 2) Proposed Approval of new School Resource Officer – Police Chief Trent Halliday 3) Update on City Main Street Project - Proposed Approval of Change Orders to Include Storm Drainage from 100 South to 350 South along Main Street, replacement of trees, parking alternatives during construction, and review of month end payment request for Culinary Water Project 4) Update and progress report of proposed and ongoing City Projects – Council Member Blake Donaldson and Mayor Lori Nay 5) Review and Discuss Recreation Issues and upcoming plans – Council Member Jeremy Pickett 6) Review of Swimming Pool Maintenance Needs and possible approval of expenditures – Council Member Brian Jensen 7) Review and Discuss Amendment to Gunnison City Personnel Policy, Purchasing Policy-Council Member Brian Jensen 8) Future Items to be Listed on Agenda 9) Proposed Approval City Council Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, June 20, 2012, Open Session and Wednesday, June 27, 2012, Open Session 10) Proposed Approval bills and Adjustments 11) Closed Session 10) Adjourn NOTE: The agenda items may be discussed in any order. *In compliance with ADA, persons needing auxiliary communicative aids & accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, etc. should call City Offices at (435)528-7969 giving at least 24 hours notice.
