ALPINE CITY COUNCIL MEETING NOTICE is hereby given that the CITY COUNCIL of Alpine City, Utah will hold a Public Hearing and Meeting on TUESDAY, June 12, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Alpine City Hall, 20 North Main, Alpine, Utah as follows: I. CALL MEETING TO ORDER A. Roll Call Mayor Hunt Willoughby B. Prayer: Troy Stout C. Pledge of Allegiance: By Invitation II. PUBLIC COMMENT: The public may comment on items that are not on the agenda. III. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Approve minutes of May 22, 2012 meeting. B. Bond release - Filmore Subdivision, Plat A - $1,353.84 C. Alpine City road project, multiple locations - High Density Mineral Bond - $38,490.91 IV. REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS A. Swearing in of Alpine Youth Council B. Financial Report for May 2012 V. ACTION/DISCUSSION ITEMS PUBLIC HEARING ON THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-13 A. Ordinance No. 2012-04, Adopting the Alpine City Budget FY 2012-13: The City Council will review comments from the Public Hearing and adopt the budget for fiscal year 2012-13. B. Resolution No. R2012-04 Adopting the Certified Tax Rate: The City Council will adopt the certified tax rate. C. East Mountain Estates Plat E Minor Subdivision: The City Council will consider (1) granting final approval for East Mountain Estates Plat E, a 3 lot subdivision located at approximately 823 S. High Bench Road, and (2) approving cash in lieu of water rights to meet the City water policy for the subdivision. D. Case Lot Fireworks – Site Plan: The City Council will consider granting site plan approval for a temporary fireworks tent for firework sakes in the parking lot of Mountainville Academy at 195 S. Main Street. E. Ordinance No. 2012-05 – Wireless Telecommunications Ordinance: The City Council will consider adopting Ordinance No. 2012-05 amending the City’s Wireless Telecommunications Ordinance. F. Fireworks: The City Council will review the recommendations from the fire department and determine regulations on the use of fireworks in Alpine. VI. STAFF REPORTS VII. COUNCIL COMMUNICATION VIII. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Discuss litigation, property acquisition or the professional character, conduct or competency of personnel.
