CALL TO ORDER INVOCATION AND PLEDGE APPROVAL OF THE MEETING’S AGENDA APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES MAYOR’S COMMENTS CEREMONIAL AGENDA 1. Presentation of the June 2012 Mayor’s Recognition Awards – Suzy Young, ASAP Coordinator 2. Presentation of the Art City Day’s Rodeo Royalty PUBLIC COMMENT: Audience members may bring any item not on the agenda to the Mayor and Council’s attention. Please complete and submit a “Request to Speak” form. Comments will be limited to two or three minutes, at the discretion of the Mayor. State Law prohibits the Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. CONSENT AGENDA* 3. Approval of all City purchase orders properly signed (Springville City Code §2-10-110(5)) PUBLIC HEARING AGENDA 4. (Continued from May 15, 2012) Public Hearing regarding a proposed amendment to Title 11-3-402 and 11-6-119 pertaining to recreation-vehicle courts – John Penrod, City Attorney 5. Public Hearing to consider an amendment of the FY 2011-2012 budget to fund a property purchase agreement with Mr. John Craig to allow the realignment of 1470 East to 620 South at 611 South Canyon Road – John Penrod, City Attorney REGULAR AGENDA 6. Consideration of granting an access easement across City property located at 2350 South Highway #51 – John Penrod, City Attorney 7. Consideration of an agreement with the Worldwide Folkfest Board to lease City property at the Arts Park to build a storage shed – John Penrod, City Attorney 8. Consideration of a proposal for a phasing plan by the Rivoli Fundraising Committee – Troy Fitzgerald, City Administrator 9. Consideration of a request for a business license for NickelMania at 1575 South 1950 West #4, and discussion of the license fee for mechanical amusement devices – Venla Gubler, City Recorder MAYOR, COUNCIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS CLOSED SESSION 10. The Springville City Council may temporarily recess the regular meeting and convene in a closed session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation, and the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, as provided by Utah Code Annotated §52-4-205 ADJOURNMENT
