RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE The Riverton City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 12, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s): 1. 'Akita AV LLC,' PLZ-26-2052, an application for a conditional use - home occupation permit for an audiovisual design, sales and installation business to be located at 12321 South 2240 West. Applicant - Anthony Estes 2. 'Day CUP-STR,' PLZ-26-2053, an application for a conditional use permit to operate a short-term rental from a residence located at 1061 West Windchime Circle. Applicants - Kerry and Tamra Day 3. 'Anderson Amend Plat,' PLZ-26-1001, an application to amend and extend Lot 65 of Deer Mountain Estates Phase 7 subdivision located at 13784 South 4170 West. Applicant - Jeffrey Anderson 4. 'Extra Space Storage #2269,' PLZ-26-8009, an application to amend a commercial site plan by installing solar panels on a storage facility located at 4425 West 12600 South. Applicant - George Timson 5. 'Extra Space Storage #2270, PLZ-26-8008, an application to amend a commercial site plan by installing solar panels on a storage facility located at 5183 West 13400 South. Applicant - George Timson 6. 'Extra Space Storage #2273,' PLZ-26-8010, an application to amend a commercial site plan by installing solar panels on a storage facility located at 13658 South Redwood Road. Applicant - George Timson 7. 'Gold Cross Ambulance,' PLZ-26-8022, an application for a final commercial site plan to be located on .12-acres in the C-G (Gateway Commercial) zone at 3008 West 12600 South. Applicant - Mike Orfanakis 8. 'Smith Insurance,' PLZ-26-8021, an application for a final commercial site plan to be located on .13-acres in the C-G (Gateway Commercial) zone at 3006 West 12600 South. Applicant - Gorm Klungervik 9. 'Park Rezone', PLZ-26-4007 Riverton City is proposing the rezone of properties located at 1469, 1457, and 1435 W 12600 South and consisting of approximately 1.73 acres (including the roadway), from RR-22 to P/OS (Parks & Open Space). No development of the property is proposed as part of this action. It is only a change to the zoning of the property. This meeting is open to the public. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live. Audio and written minutes will be available following the meeting. Public comment for this item may be submitted via email to planning@rivertonutah.gov or by phone to 801-208-3149. All comments submitted before 5:00 pm on the date of the hearing will be relayed to the Planning Commission. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
