Proposed Location Changes for Self-Contained Special Education Classrooms
The Provo City School District Board of Education will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding a proposal to expand the locations of self-contained special education classrooms from one site at Provo Peaks Elementary School to three regional sites.
Under the proposal, some classrooms would remain at Provo Peaks Elementary School, while others would relocate to two additional elementary sites The proposed regional model is intended to increase opportunities for students to learn and build relationships with peers within their school feeder systems.

Parents, guardians, employees, and community members are invited to attend and provide input regarding the proposed locations and their potential effects on students, families, and schools.
The proposal remains under consideration. The Board will consider public feedback before making a final decision.
