COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FIRST PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Notice is hereby given that DELTA CITY will hold a public hearing on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2026 at DELTA CITY HALL, 76 N 200 W, DELTA, UT 84624 at 6:45 PM. DELTA CITY is eligible to apply for funding under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Small Cities Program, a federally funded program administered by the State of Utah, Division of Housing and Community Development (HCD). DELTA CITY is eligible to apply for CDBG funding provided DELTA CITY meets the applicable program requirements. The purpose of the public hearing is to provide citizens with pertinent information about the Community Development Block Grant program and to allow for discussion of possible projects. This public hearing will cover eligible activities, program requirements, and expected funding allocations in the region. The CDBG Program can fund a broad range of activities, including, but not limited to: construction of public works and facilities, e.g., water and sewer lines, fi re stations, acquisition of real property, and provision of public services such as food banks or homeless shelters. In the event that DELTA CITY chooses to apply for CDBG funding, a second public hearing will be held at a later time to discuss the project. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify SHERRI WESTBROOK at DELTA CITY HALL, 76 N 200 W, DELTA, UT 84624 at least three days prior to the hearing. The City Council may conduct an Electronic Meeting so that a member of the Public Body may participate, pursuant to UCA §52-4-207, (1953), as amended.

Be advised the City Council may commence a Closed Meeting, pursuant to Utah Code Annotated (UCA) Section 52-4-204 and Section 52-4-205, (1953), as amended. Agenda items are considered flexible and may be conducted sequentially different than listed. Individuals and entities that have business before the City Council should be present at meeting commencement.
