PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Froerer B. Pledge of Allegiance C. Invocation/Moment of Silence- Commissioner Harvey D. Commissioner Comments E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda-please limit comments to 3 minutes) F. Consent Items 1. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $33,613.77. 2. Request for approval of contract #5260010 in the amount of $25,131.00. 3. Request for approval of contract #5260011 in the amount of $148,200.93. 4. Request for approval of warrants #109569-109652, #498763-498848 and #568 in the amount of $2,421,587.92. 5. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 6. Request for approval of a new business license. 7. Request for approval of minutes from the meeting on October 20, 2026. 8. Request to declare part of Parcel Number 14-016-0025 as Surplus Property. 9. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Rocky Mountain Barrel Racing Association to hold barrel jackpots at the Golden Spike Event Center for the 2027 season. 10. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Elite Productions to host the RMPRA Winter Series Rodeo at the Golden Spike Event Center. 11. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and the United States Marshall Service for the housing, safekeeping, subsistence, and care of Federal prisoners. G. Action Items 1. Request for approval of the final reading of an ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners amending section 3-6-3 of the Weber County Code to change the approval process for additional types of contracts. Request for approval of a final reading of an ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Weber County amending certain fees of the Weber County Parks and Recreation Budget. Request for approval of a resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County approving the release of an existing conservation easement on parcel 15-823-0049 and accepting a conservation easement on parcel 15-043-0097.
