The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a Work Session on October 27, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. 1. Roll Call 2. Continued Discussion - 700 South Safety Route and Heavy Vehicle Restrictions Further discussion regarding proposed safety improvements and heavy vehicle restrictions along 700 South, including the proposed ordinance, designated truck routes, and potential exemptions. 3. Continued Discussion - Fire Inspection Ordinance Further review and discussion of the proposed Fire Inspection Ordinance, including inspection requirements, applicable businesses, inspection frequency, fees, and enforcement procedures. 4. Continued Discussion - Property Damage Assistance Ordinance Further discussion regarding a proposed ordinance establishing guidelines for City assistance with property damage resulting from City utility system failures, including eligibility requirements, reimbursement limitations, and available funding. 5. Discussion on Adoption of Work Clothing and Uniform Policy This is a work session. No formal action will be taken.
