- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Syracuse Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026 at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall - 1979 West 1900 South, to discuss the following matters: Minor Subdivision: Request by Mabel Murray-Moss for a minor subdivision containing 2 lots, located at approximately 741 W 3700 S. The project comprises approximately 0.67 acre in the R-2 zone. Zoning Amendment: Request by Michael Hampton for the rezoning of a 0.41-acre property located at approximately 1782 W 1700 S. The parcel is currently zoned R-2 (Residential); the proposed zoning is LC (Light Commercial). Conditional Use Permit: Cressy Meese is seeking a Conditional Use Permit for a major home occupation called Tiny Quest Adventure Preschool. The business will be located at 2650 S 2000 W in the R-2 zone.
