Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be held before the Bluffdale City Planning Commission on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, at Bluffdale City Hall, 2222 W 14400 S, which will begin at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible for the purpose of receiving public comment on a proposed Text Amendment to update the City Code as follows:
- Chapter 3.100.010 - Definitions: Amend the definition of 'Short-Term Rental' to include accessory dwelling units (ADUs).
- Chapter 3.100.020: Amend general regulations to allow short-term rental licenses for ADUs, with only one license permitted per property.
- Chapter 11.20.020: Amend zoning definitions related to short-term rentals and accessory dwelling units to accommodate the use of ADUs as licensed short-term rentals.
- Chapter 11.340.040(F): Allow internal and detached ADUs to be used as licensed short-term rentals in accordance with BCC 3.100.
