PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Froerer B. Pledge of Allegiance- C. Invocation/Moment of Silence- Courtlan Erickson D. Commissioner Comments- E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda- please limit comments to 3 minutes) F. Presentation- Presentation of the Quarter 3 Ogden Grit Award. Presenter: Sara Toliver G. Consent Items- 1. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $158,716.86. 2. Request for approval of warrants #109507-109568, #498635-498762 and #566 in the amount of $1,000,035.65. 3. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 4. Request for approval of the Tax Review Committee's recommendation of tax adjustment/abatement on Parcel #08-093-0025 and #08-093-0027. 5. Request for approval of extension of the contract by and between Weber County and Verde Facilities Services for janitorial services for the Weber Center and USU Extension. H. Action Items- 1. Request from the Human Resources Department for approval to approve the following policies- HR Policy 5-200 Pay Practices HR Policy 6-200 Performance Management Presenter: Emily Wilde 2. Request for approval of the first reading of an ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners amending section 3-6-3 of the Weber County Code to change the approval process for additional types of contracts. Presenter: Courtlan Erickson 3. Request for approval of a first reading of an ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Weber County amending certain fees of the Weber County Parks and Recreation Budget. Presenter: Brad Cragun 4. Request for approval of a Lease Agreement by and between Weber County and Eden Excavating and Western Landscaping Co. for the purpose of storing landscaping products on property owned by Weber County. Presenter: Sean Wilkinson I. Public Hearings 1. Request for a motion to adjourn public meeting and convene public hearings. 2. Request for a public hearing and consideration regarding a proposed ordinance for the Jordan Holmes Rezone, an amendment to the County's zoning map rezoning approximately 12.3 acres, located at approximately 1940 South 4700 West, from the A-1 zone to the R1-15 zone, and to adopt a development agreement governing development of the property. Presenter: Charlie Ewert 3. Public Comments (Please limit comments to 3 minutes)- 4. Request for a public hearing and consideration regarding a proposed ordinance for the Anna Alfonsi Rezone, an amendment to the County's zoning map rezoning approximately 20.36 acres, located at approximately 3655 West 1400 South, from the A-1 zone to the R1-15 zone, and to adopt a development agreement governing development of the property. Presenter: Charlie Ewert 5. Public Comments (Please limit comments to 3 minutes)- 6. Request for a motion to convene public hearings and reconvene public meeting- 7.
