Description/Agenda: Notice of a pending ordinance related to proposed changes to Chapter 4 of the South Salt Lake City Municipal Code updating the standards and conditions for Short-Term Rentals. The South Salt Lake Community and Economic Development Department formally initiated proceedings to amend the municipality's Short-Term Rental regulations outlined in Land Use and Development Code Chapter 4. These changes include , but are not limited to: limiting the zones where Short-Term Rentals can operate, the number of Short-Term Rental licenses a person can hold, and clarifying that licenses are non-transferable. The first public hearing before the Planning Commission on the proposed Ordinance will be at a later date yet to be determined.
