Notice of Public Hearing to Adopt a New Storm Water Management Plan
Notice is hereby given that the Payson City Council, a local municipality council located in Utah County, Utah, will hold a public hearing prior to adopting a new Storm Water Management Plan. The public hearing will take place at 6:00 p.m. on November 4, 2026 at 439 W. Utah Ave., Payson, Utah.
The purpose of this public notice is to solicit public comment regarding Payson City's proposed Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP). The SWMP is intended to serve as the City's primary framework for managing stormwater runoff, planning future stormwater infrastructure improvements, protecting water quality, and documenting compliance with applicable state and federal stormwater management requirements, including the Utah Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (UPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit program. The proposed SWMP evaluates existing stormwater facilities, identifies future system needs, and establishes recommendations for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the City's stormwater system.
The public is hereby invited to attend the hearing. For information about the SWMP or to ask any questions, please contact:
