RIVERDALE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Riverdale City Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing at approximately 6:00 pm on October 27, 2026, to receive and consider public comment on these items before a recommendation from the Planning Commission is forwarded to the City Council for final action: 1. General Plan Amendment. Amend the Future Land Use Map designation from Detached Residential to Commercial for approximately .90 acres constituting a portion of the property located at the corner of 1500 W and Ritter Drive, Riverdale, Utah (Weber County parcel no. 085050004). 2. Zoning Map Amendment and Preliminary Commercial Development Plan. Rezone the same approximately .90-acre portion from Single-Family Residential (R-1-6) to Regional Planned Commercial (CP-3) and consider the accompanying preliminary commercial development plan for a 7,200 square foot commercial building with associated parking and utilities. The requests relate to a proposed three-lot subdivision consisting of two single-family residential lots that would retain R-1-6 zoning and one commercial lot that would receive CP-3 zoning. Only the commercial portion, identified as such on a subdivision concept exhibit, is proposed for the General Plan and zoning changes. The subdivision and site plan are subject to separate review and approval.
