Call to Order: John Cazier Invocation: Pledge of Allegiance: Roll Call: Citizens present: II. Citizen Comments: III. Business A. Truth in taxation discussion 1. Intent to increase fire tax 2. Annual DVFSSD budget to increase from $40,000 to $100,000. 3. Purpose of tax is to adjust for inflation to cover station expenses in annual budget. 4. Tax rate increase proposed from .000613 multiplier to .0008 as allowed by Utah code 17B-1-1002d. 5. Public Hearing Scheduled for December 3, 2026. IV. Chief Report or Comments V. Adjourn Next Meeting to be held October 22, 2026 (unless voted to hold at a different time date) at 7 pm, at the Diamond Valley Fire Station
