NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grantsville City Council adopted the following ordinances at its regular City Council meetings held on the dates identified below:
- Ordinance 2026-05, adopted August 19, 2026, approves the rezoning of property located at approximately 500 West Apple Street for the Apple Street Townhomes
Subdivision to RM-15 (Multiple Residential District), excluding approximately 1.19 acres retained for commercial use along the SR-138 frontage.
- Ordinance 2026-29, adopted September 16, 2026, amends Chapter 15 of the Grantsville Land Use and Management Code to allow Micro-Entrepreneurship as a conditional use in the R-1-8, R-1-12, R-1-21, RM-7, and RM-15 zoning districts, subject to existing standards, operating limitations, and separate application and approval requirements.
- Ordinance 2026-30, adopted September 16, 2026, amends Chapters 2, 6, and 7 of the Grantsville Land Use Ordinance to remove the minimum 100-foot frontage requirement for home occupation permit eligibility, remove the fixed 60-foot driveway separation requirement near intersections, and clarify referral of conditional use applications to the Planning Commission when public comments raise concerns.
- Ordinance 2026-28, adopted October 5, 2026, amends Chapter 9 of the Grantsville Land Use Ordinance to update landscaping, waterwise landscaping, turf, irrigation, park strip, parkway, and median standards, including requirements for landscape plans, installation, maintenance, and approved plant materials.
