SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
WHAT IS BEING CONSIDERED
Each year Salt Lake City receives several million dollars in grants from HUD for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Housing Opportunities for Persons With HIV/AIDS (HOPWA) programs. HUD requires an annual public hearing for the City to hear about community development needs from the public. This feedback helps prioritize the distribution of grant funds among many competing community needs.
