Pleasant Grove Arts Commission Agenda June 13, 2024 5:30p.m. at the Pleasant Grove City Hall Proceedings: Meeting convened: 5:30 pm 70 South 100 East PG, UT 84062 Mission- Facilitate artistic opportunities within our community. Vision- Become the arts center of Utah county. Values- Learning, Influence, Quality Programming, Enjoyment Motions to start: Mandi first, Tina second Board Members In Attendance: Stacy Martineau, Emma Martineau, Madi Fontana, Melissa Lindstrom, Mandi Lundt, Brian Fogelberg, Brady Hoggard, Tina Fontana EXCUSED: Emily Hammerstead, Cyd Lemone Public in attendance: Minutes from MAY 9, 2024: Tina first, Mandi second (Need to post online) City Business - (Cyd Lemone): Report on Center Stage City Council opted to cease funding Director's Business (Stacy do you have anything from Sheri): Chairperson business (Brian): Creative Collab Type Affiliated on Instagram Do we investigate sponsors How do we get attendees Keep it simple - Something on topic Possibly ask Adobe for sponsors ($100 for snacks to be a sponsor for every event) - Learn what our ask is Location in PG Players' theater Brian will head up and see if he can get it off the ground Budget Discuss with Denise what our annual spend is (sans carry-over) Define bills to Sheri which budget they come out of Board Roundtable: Brady Open Mic Night - Brian: Share Canva login Artist of the Month Madison and Brady met yesterday with Eva Madi will take over this project - Still needs group to curate names Songwriter Competition Second Saturday October 12 (Tentative date) - Beginning to seek partnerships - July 1st can reach out to DoTerra - June 30th are the winners - In August begin announcing - Submit unique submissions instead of in the last 12 months Summerbration - 8th of August (3pm-9pm) PG's got talent? And performers - We already have our lineup 3-3:45 Alexander Galore 4-4:45 Austin Tyler 5:15-6:30 Ghost of Glory Days 7:15-8:45 Andrea Sharp and the Timeless Band - We want chairs setup - they use the main stage (Pavilion) - Setup our booth by Pavilion Prizes and confetti cannon Emma Equipment Shirts update - Change to hunter-green Order an additional iPad - Not needed at this time Review port changes Madison Social Media/PR (with Emma and Tina) Facebook Business page conversion review - Post on business page and then share it to the old page to help people come to the right page - Discuss running adds for certain events Songwriter competition ect Mandi Records keeping Newsletter Move all emails to Email List Submissions Melissa City-supported Events Summerbration - PG's got talent - Brady's got this - We do want a booth Viking days - Music for this? Strawberry days (June 15-23, 2024) - Chalk the block (are we helping?)
