- SPRING CITY CONDENSED SUMMARY OF ADOPTED ORDINANCE 2026-09 On October 1, 2026, in a City Council meeting, Ordinance 2026-09 was adopted. This ordinance adds Article C, Deer, to Title 5, Chapter 2 of the Spring City Municipal Code and prohibits the intentional feeding of deer within Spring City. The ordinance is intended to reduce property damage to gardens and landscaping and public safety concerns associated with deer, including vehicle accidents. The prohibition is an element of the City's Deer Control Plan under Utah Administrative Rule R657-65, Urban Deer Control. The ordinance provides certain exceptions for authorized officials and activities and for conventional agriculture or livestock operations. A copy of the ordinance can be viewed in the city office at 45 S 100 E, Spring City, Utah 84662 during normal business hours, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday. The ordinance may be viewed on the city website at springcityutah.gov and the Utah Public Notice website at utah.gov/pmn/.
