Pleasant Grove Beautification & Shade Tree Advisory Commission Meeting Agenda Meeting to be held at City Hall October 8th , 2026 at 7:00 pm Attendance: Present: Absent: Agenda Items: 1. Welcome and Introduction - 2. Approve Minutes from September meeting 3. Treasurer's Report: a. 4. Report from Park/Rec: a. Water report b. Park report c. Project updates 5. Current Business: a. Yard of the Month i. Any outstanding YOM physical papers; please bring to turn in to Deon ii. Any Y.O.M. nominations please send to Brett, and announce on Newsletter and IG/FB that if any citizens have nominations to please let us know. iii. Ideas for Christmas awards- Yard lanterns b. Other items from Committee i. Parks Lunch: Who was able to attend? How did it turn out? Any changes or anything different to do next year? ii. Budget, what month next year to prepare to give extra to parks budget for tools? iii. Future projects: June Strawberry days, purchase some (x2) trees for a raffle or competition for our committee. Discuss more in detail drawing, how to earn tickets and vouchers or actually picking up the physical tree? At the main street Concert? At Fireman's breakfast? April Arbor Day, get more people involved, give a plant or tree away to volunteers iv.
