- PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kearns Community Committee will hold a meeting on the 6th day of October 2026 to begin at 6:00 p.m., on the Second (2nd) Floor of the Element Event Center, located at 5658 Cougar Ln., Kearns, Utah 84118 as follows: **Portions of the meeting may be closed for reasons allowed by statue. Motions relating to any of the items listed below, including final action, may be taken. 1. CALL TO ORDER 2. DETERMINE QUORUM 3. CONSENT AGENDA A. Minutes for Review and Approval a. September 1, 2026 4. PUBLIC COMMENT - Two (2) Minutes Allowed Per Person 5. STAKEHOLDERS AND SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS A. Unified Police Department - Chief Levi Hughes B. LDS Communications - Richard McCune C. Kearns City Council - Councilwoman Lyndsay Longtin 6. COMMITTEE BUSINESS (Discussion/Motion) A. Taste of Kearns 10/7 - Michelle, for KHS student outreach -- Discussion B. KHS Homecoming Game 10/9 -- Discussion C. Harmon's Trunk or Treat event 10/12 - Paula Larsen -- Discussion D. Flag Maintenance - Discussion and Potential Action E. ACCT Insurance (insurance cancelation and pro rata reimbursement) - Discussion F. Upcoming Events-Discussion and Potential Action 7. CLOSED SESSIONS IF NEEDED AS ALLOWED PURSUANT TO UTAH CODE ยง52-4-205 8. ADJOURN
