- PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 5:30 PM 40 Main St / Formerly: 91 Mill St, Virgin UT 84779 & via Zoom TO ACCEPT PUBLIC INPUT ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: PUBLIC COMMENTS FOR PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS MAY BE MADE AT THE MEETING IN PERSON OR SUBMITTED ONE DAY PRIOR TO THE MEETING. A. SHORT TITLE: PROHIBITED USES ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VMC 16.02.12 (DEFINITIONS) AND REPLACING VMC TITLE 16 SECTION 30.06 (USE TABLES) TO ESTABLISH PROHIBITED USES WITHIN THE TOWN OF VIRGIN. B. SHORT TITLE: SIGN LIGHTING AMENDMENTS AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF VIRGIN, UTAH, AMENDING TITLE 16, CHAPTER 52, SIGN REGULATIONS, AND TITLE 16, CHAPTER 50, LIGHTING, TO CONSOLIDATE ALL STANDARDS FOR THE ILLUMINATION OF SIGNS WITHIN CHAPTER 52; AMENDING TITLE 16, CHAPTER 2.12 DEFINITIONS; AND RESOLVING A CONFLICT BETWEEN THE SIGN AND LIGHTING ORDINANCES. C. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RESTATING TITLE 16, CHAPTER 16.40 (COMMERCIAL ZONE) OF THE VIRGIN MUNICIPAL CODE TO MODERNIZE THE PURPOSE, APPLICABILITY, LOCATION, PERMITTED AND CONDITIONAL USES, USE-SPECIFIC STANDARDS, AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARD OF THE COMMERCIAL ZONE.
