Approval of Minutes 3. Attendance 4. OCTOBER ACTIVITIES a. Tuesday October 6th, Council Meeting 1:30 b. Lunch Bunch - October 1st - Jim's Family Restaurant c. BINGO -Monday October 19th - Halloween Theme - Food? d. Exercise Class - Tuesdays & Thursdays the 6th, 8th,13th, 15th, 20th 22nd, 27th, 29 e. Meals Served - 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, 29 f. Spanish Class with Virginia Tuesdays Only 10:00am - 11:00am g. Oil Painting, Jig Saw Puzzles, Tie Quilting on Wed. & Thurs. 10:00am - 11:45am h. Oil Painting, Jig Saw Puzzles, Tie Quilting offered on Tuesdays 10:00am - 1:00pm i. Crocheting with Joni on Wednesdays only 10:00am - 11:45am j. End of Month Activity - Mon. the 26th 5:00pm - City Council Chili Cook Off 5. NOVEMBER ACTIVITIES a. Council Meeting Tuesday -November 3rd@ 1:30pm b. Lunch Bunch - November 5th - Thai Better - 222 Crossroad Blvd. SS c. BINGO - Monday November 16th -- Thanksgiving Theme - Food? d. Exercise Class - Tuesdays & Thursdays the 3rd, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19 e. Meals Served - 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19 f. Spanish Class with Virginia Tuesdays Only 10:00am - 11:00am g. Oil Painting, Jig Saw Puzzles, Tie Quilting on Wed. & Thurs. 10:00am - 11:45am h. Oil Painting, Puzzles, Tie Quilting offered on Tuesdays 10:00am - 1:00p i. Crocheting with Joni on Wednesdays only 10:00am - 11:45am j. End of Month Activity Mon. 23rd - Set up Thanksgiving Baskets and deliver them. k. Have Pizza for the helpers? What time should we start filling the baskets? 6. OPEN FOR DISCUSSION 7. THANKSGIVING BASKETS a. Number of Families - stays with 20 families b. Do deliveries during the Daylight then the Evening if needed. c. Start Senior donations in September for the Baskets d. Seniors are helping donate items needed for the baskets e. Are there any of Our Seniors that could use a Thanksgiving Basket f. Donations or pay for 20 Turkeys? Brett Wright g. Debra is donating 20 Pumpkin Pies 8. SENIOR CENTER OPEN ON TUESDAYS a. If MAG is unable to supply our lunches as pre-sealed meals, I feel we should stay with just being open to Seniors to come and enjoy the Senior Center and what we have available. So far Seniors have come for the Spanish Class, Open Painting, Exercise Classes and Jig saw Puzzle. b. Hours open? 10:00 am- 1:00pm c. We Started this program on September 1st with Council Meeting following on the first Tuesday of the month @ 1: 30 pm 9. Any Senior In need of help? Let's Not forget that we are not a full council .and Sandy is planning on leaving the end of December/first part of January. 9.
