Planning and Development 374 East Main Street Vernal, Utah 84078 Phone: 435-789-2255 Fax: 435-789-2256 www.vernal.gov September 28, 2026 **NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING** ALL AFFECTED ENTITIES: Notice is hereby given that the Vernal City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on October 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Vernal City Council Chambers, located at 374 East Main Street, Vernal, Utah, to consider a request to approve the following: 1. Recommendation to consider approval of the Everbuilt Rezone (Jacob Speirs) for property located at 1315 West 500 North, 1189 West 500 North, and 381 North 1250 West, Parcel #'s 05:006:0012, 05:006:0013, 05:005:0029 - 2026-041-REZ. This request is being made to allow the applicant to develop the property into a subdivision and to obtain a zoning designation that permits a higher residential density for the proposed development. 2. Recommendation to consider approval to amend the Vernal City Planning and Zoning Code Section 16.06.010 - Amendments - Ordinance # 2026-27 - Braeden Christofferson 3. Recommendation to consider approval to amend the Vernal City Planning and Zoning Code Section 16.58.112 Subdivision Vacation Requirements - Ordinance # 2026-28 - Braeden Christofferson 4. Recommendation to consider approval to amend the Vernal City Planning and Zoning Code Section 16.60 - Master Site Plan - subsections 16.60.030, 16.60.050, 16.60.060 - Ordinance # 2026-29 - Braeden Christofferson Property owners and all interested persons are encouraged to the public hearing and provide comment regarding this request. Written comments may also be submitted prior to the meeting to the Vernal City Planning Department, 374 East Main, Vernal, UT 84078. To be included in the public record, written comments should be received no later than October 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Each written objection filed with the municipality will be provided to the municipal legislative body for consideration. Additional information regarding this application is available for review at the Vernal City offices during regular business hours.
