Description/Agenda: NEWTON TOWN NOTICE The main water line will be replaced for one block along 100 West between 200 North & 100 North. This block of water line is being replaced because it is transite pipe and was installed about 1970. New water connections cannot be added to this old transite pipe. This is one of the last remaining blocks of transite pipe left within Newton Town boundaries. Work will be during the week of September 28 - October 2, 2026. Water service may be disrupted while new connections are made. Potential water shut off time will be posted on the Newton website, www.newtonutah.gov, when known.
