Notice of Election
Notice is hereby given that the 2026 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to elect candidates to the offices listed on the General Election Ballot. To qualify to vote in these elections, an individual must be at least 18 years old on or before November 3, 2026, be a United States citizen, and have been a resident of the applicable entity for at least thirty days prior to November 3, 2026. The Ballot sample shows all candidates, offices, and ballot questions/propositions for each voting area.
For voters receiving a ballot by mail, ballots will be mailed to eligible voters beginning October 13, 2026.
The location of ballot drop boxes, the location and hours of polling places, including early voting polling places and hours, and qualifications of individuals who may vote in the election can be found under Election Notices: https://www.summitcountyutah.gov/281/Voter-Registration-Elections, and the statewide voter information website, https://vote.utah.gov/, or by calling 435-336-3040, or by emailing elections@summitcountyutah.gov or at 60 North Main Street, Coalville, Utah 84017, the polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and continue open until 8:00 p.m.
Any Summit County resident from any voting precinct may vote at any Summit County polling place. All polling locations are equipped with ballot-marking devices featuring accessible options. In-person voting will be held at the following locations:
- Coalville City Hall: 10 North Main Street, Coalville, Utah, Council Chambers
- Summit County Library (Kamas Branch): 110 North Main Street, Kamas, Utah, Main Floor Conf. Room
- Sheldon Richins Building (Kimball Junction): 1885 West Ute Boulevard, Park City, Utah
- Summit County Health Department (Quinn's Junction): 650 Round Valley, Park City, Utah, Downstairs Conference Room
- Summit County Courthouse: 60 N Main Street, Coalville, Utah (Early Voting Only)
Accessibility Information: Individuals with disabilities who are unable to vote a paper ballot by mail may obtain information on accessible voting options by contacting the Summit County Clerk's Office at 435-336-3040, emailing elections@summitcountyutah.gov, or visiting the online voting websites listed above.
Notice of Automatic Tabulating Equipment Testing: Notice is hereby given that the pre-election automatic tabulating equipment testing, as required by Subsection 20A-4-104(1), will be conducted on October 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Summit County Courthouse, 60 North Main Street, Coalville, UT 84017.
Notice is further given that the post-election Audit will be conducted on November 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the same location.
