RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE The Riverton City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 8, 2026, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s): a. 'Millhand Company,' PLZ-26-2047, an application for a conditional use permit for a home occupation producing wood crafts from the garage of the residence located at 3637 West Roy Lane. Applicant - Justin Christensen b. 'Walmart Amended Site Plan,' PLZ-26-8024, an application to amend a commercial site plan located at 1202 West 12600 South by adding electric vehicle charging stations. Applicant - Julie Hekking c. 'Jorgensen Rezone,' PLZ-26-4006, an application to rezone approximately 3.96-acres located at 12007 South Reeves Lane from A-5 (Agricultural, minimum 5-acres) to R-3 (Single-family Residential 14,000 sf minimum). Applicant - Kerry Jorgensen d. 'Residential Facility Ordinance Amendment,' PLZ-26-5002, Riverton City is proposing changes to Riverton City Code, Title 18 Land Use and Development regarding residential facilities. This meeting is open to the public. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live. Audio and written minutes will be available following the meeting. Public comment for this item may be submitted via email to planning@rivertonutah.gov or by phone to 801-208-3149. All comments submitted before 5:00 pm on the date of the hearing will be relayed to the Planning Commission.
