a. General Agency: Randy shared his excitement for the upcoming Commissioner's Cup Golf Tournament benefiting Giant Steps and thanked everyone involved in planning the event. He noted that the tournament at Spanish Oaks is fully registered and will include fundraising activities, prizes, and a special 9/11 tribute. Randy expressed appreciation for the significant effort that has gone into making the event a success and highlighted its value as a community engagement opportunity.
b. Crisis and Intensive Services Division: Scott reported that Aspire Academy successfully completed its CARF survey and received renewed three-year accreditation. The program received only two follow-up recommendations, down from thirteen in the previous cycle. While the process was challenging, it provided valuable feedback and strengthened compliance efforts through enhanced documentation, policy updates, and quality improvement practices.
c. Clinical and Community Services Division: Elizabeth provided an update on the Perinatal Mental Health Program, which is in its third year of a state grant. Since last July, the program has completed 37 intakes at Westpark, with additional clients served across other clinics. The program has 21 staff trained in perinatal mental health, including support for fathers, and two staff are pursuing certification. Specialized therapists are available to support individuals experiencing perinatal mental health concerns, and women's groups are offered in 8 to 10-week cycles, including virtual and seasonal options.
d. Substance Use Disorder Division: Amy shared a client recovery story highlighting the impact of treatment and the role of honesty in recovery. The client recently celebrated 730 days of sobriety and expressed hope that others in treatment can achieve similar success through recovery and personal growth.
e. Human Resources: Evan highlighted the HCSFAP state loan repayment program, noting that four employees, including a nurse practitioner, two therapists, and an RN, received awards this year. WBH matches 20% of the loan forgiveness amount, making the program a valuable retention tool. He explained that the program encourages long-term employee commitment and has been particularly effective in supporting recruitment and retention.
