Notice is hereby given that the Emery County Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Emery County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, located at 75 East Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah.
The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment regarding the EMERY COUNTY UTILITY-SCALE SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS ORDINANCE .
A copy of the current working draft is available for public inspection at the Emery County Clerk/Auditors office during regular business hours, online via the Utah Public Notice Website or on Emery County's website.
All interested persons are invited to attend and provide oral comments on the drafted language. Written comments may also be submitted to the Emery County Commission Office at P.O. Box 629, Castle Dale, UT 84513, or via email at commission@emery.utah.gov prior to the hearing date.
