- TOWN OF ALTAMONT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Altamont Town Council will hold a formal Public Hearing during its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 7:00 PM. The meeting and hearing will be held at the Altamont Town Office Building, located at 15588 W 4000 N, Altamont, UT 84001. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment, input, and testimony regarding proposed updates to municipal planning and development regulations. Specifically, the Town Council will review, consider, and potentially take formal action on the following: 1. Establishment/Adjustment of Land Use Fees: Review and adoption of proposed adjustments to the town's consolidated land use and development fee schedule. 2. Land Use Applications & Checklists: Formal review and adoption of updated land use applications, submittal checklists, and related administrative procedures. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION All interested residents, property owners, and affected stakeholders are invited to attend and present oral or written comments: - In-Person Comments: Oral testimony will be accepted during the designated public comment portion of the hearing. - Written Comments: Written statements may be submitted in advance to the Town Clerk by mail, in person at the Town Office, or via email to altamonttown@gmail.com. Written comments must be received by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, to be included in the official meeting record. DOCUMENT INSPECTION & ACCESSIBILITY - Inspection of Materials: Proposed draft fee schedules, applications, and submittal checklists are available for public inspection at the Altamont Town Office during regular business hours prior to the hearing or on the Town Webpage Starting Oct 1 2026. - ADA Accommodations: In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids or services) during this meeting should contact the Town Clerk at (435) 454-3469 at least 48 to 72 hours prior to the hearing.
