Consideration of Code Enforcement Ordinance
The Town of Daniel hereby gives notice that a public hearing will be held during the Daniel Town Council meeting on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment regarding the proposed adoption of a code enforcement ordinance.
The hearing will be held at the Wasatch County Services Building, 55 South 500 East, Conference Room B, Heber City, UT, during the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting. This is an open meeting in which you will have the opportunity to voice concerns or ask questions about the proposed ordinance.
A summary of the ordinance reads as follows:
'The ordinance enacts Title 9, a unified Code Enforcement and Community Preservation Program for Daniel Town. It brings the Town's enforcement procedures into one title to promote voluntary compliance, consistent notice and investigation, fair hearings when required, and appropriate remedies and cost recovery. The ordinance is intended to preserve other enforcement authority available under Town Code or Utah law, includes a severability clause, and directs the Mayor and staff to complete the steps needed for it to take effect and be posted to the Town's website.'
If you cannot attend the meeting but would still like your comments to be included as part of the record of the hearing, please send your written comments by email to clerk@danielutah.gov or mail them to the above address.
Sincerely,
Megan Goodrich
Daniel Town Clerk/Recorder
