ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Washington City Located in Washington City, Utah Washington City Storm Drain Projects WAD-01 & WAD-05 Washington City is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Washington City Storm Drain Projects WAD-01 & WAD-05 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Public Works office located at 1305 E Washington Dam Rd, Washington UT 84780 where Bids will be received, until October 08, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be privately opened. The Project includes the following Work: Washington City is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the construction of Storm Drain Projects WAD-01 and WAD-05. The WAD-01 project is located near Washington Fields Road and includes the installation of approximately 2,700 linear feet of 60-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), together with associated storm drain structures. The proposed storm drain begins near the Virgin River, extends east to Washington Fields Road, and then continues approximately 1,500 feet southeast along an existing dirt road. The WAD-05 project is located at the north end of 1900 East along the old canal roadway. The project includes the installation of approximately 600 linear feet of 42-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) storm drain pipe, together with associated storm drain structures. Sealed bids must be submitted by the specified deadline as outlined in the bid documents. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Washington City Storm Drain Projects WAD-01 & WAD-05. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents on compact disk will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Contract Times The Work will be substantially complete within [60] calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence Plus [7] Calendar days for the Holidays (November 16th to January 22nd) to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within [30] days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
