- Notice is hereby given that the Sanpete County Commission will hold a Public Hearing to discuss the pros and cons of Ballot Proposition #11 Rural Healthcare Sales and Use Tax; 'Shall Sanpete County implement up to a 1% sales and use tax to be used as allowed by State Statute - including funding of an E911 system, as well as other needed healthcare and emergency services?' Anyone objecting or in support of the proposed resolution must file a written statement with the Sanpete County Clerk's Office (lchristiansen@sanpetecountyutah.gov) at the Sanpete County Courthouse, 160 N. Main Street, Suite 202, Manti, Utah, 84642. The public hearing has been scheduled at the Sanpete County Commission Chambers in the Sanpete County Courthouse, 160 N. Main Street, Manti, Utah, on the 29th day of October, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. Individuals needing special accommodations should contact Linda Christiansen, County Clerk at (435) 835-2131 ext.5.
