A. Recommendation of Audit Firm for External Auditing Services
Three proposals were received in response to the RFP for external auditing services. After evaluation by four members of the Audit Committee, the proposal submitted by Squire & Company, PC was scored the highest. Squire demonstrated strong qualifications, extensive experience auditing Utah counties and other governmental entities, and the capacity to complete the County's audit accurately and on schedule. The anticipated first-year cost is
$53,000.00, escalating 4% per year for up to five years.
