Description/Agenda: Agenda of the American Fork Beautification and Shade Tree Committee September 17, 2026 Meeting to be held at: Robinson Park, 100 E Main Street, 4 p.m. 1. Reading and approval of August 20, 2026, minutes. 2. No Urban Forestry report. Brady is out of town. 3. City Councilman report-Tim Holley. New park strip information and ordinances. 4. Library gardening class schedules and topics for 2027. a. Committee input concerning class topics. b. Need committee member to head up community involvement for 2027. This involves scheduling with AF Library before holidays and finding teachers for selected dates. 5. American Fork City's 20th anniversary as a 'Tree City.' Need minimum of 2 committee members to help Brady plan and execute anniversary celebration. 6. Need volunteer to be new Beautification Committee secretary for 2027. 7. Yard of the Month. Any items or concerns for discussion? This month (September) is the last month for selecting Yards of the Month. If you are retiring from the committee, please bring signs to the meeting. 8. Next meeting will be at City Hall, Thursday, October 23. This is the fourth Thursday; Kris will be out of town on our regularly scheduled third Thursday, October 16.
