WEST VALLEY CITY PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing of the West Valley City Planning Commission will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM, in West Valley City Hall, 3600 Constitution Blvd., West Valley City, Utah. A premeeting will be held at 3:30 PM. Members of the press and public are invited to attend in person or view this meeting live on Zoom at https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83896786911.
Preliminary application information will be available by 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at https://www.wvc-ut.gov/669/Agendas-Minutes. Staff analyses, as well as any final application materials, will be updated by 12:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Testimonies for or against the proposed applications can be provided to the Planning Commission during the public hearing or in writing prior to the hearing. If you wish to submit written comments, be advised that this should be provided to the Planning Staff member assigned to the application at least seven (7) days prior to the meeting to enable the Planning Commission to properly consider the comments.
SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS
SMI-6-2026 Petition by Craig Day requesting minor subdivision approval for the Day Dream Estates Subdivision. The 3-lot subdivision is located at 3698 S 4000 W, covers 0.82 acres, and is zoned R-1-8 (Single Unit Dwelling Residential, minimum lot size 8,000 square feet). CA-2-2026 Petition by Cabco 5600, LLC requesting conditional use approval for a U-Haul Lot and Parking Expansion. The property is located at 2512 S. 5600 W. on 0.50 acres, and zoned C2, General Commercial.
