NOTICE OF A REGULAR LIBRARY BOARD MEETING September 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM ________________ PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Vineyard Library Board will hold a regularly scheduled Library Board meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 125 South Main Street, Vineyard, UT. AGENDA Presiding: Chair Christine Jeffs 1. CALL TO ORDER 2. CONSENT ITEMS 2.1. Approval of July and August Library Board Meeting Minutes 3. BUSINESS ITEMS 3.1. Library Board Membership Discuss and consider adding two additional members to the Library Board, particularly in connection with potential Youth Council collaboration. 3.2. Patron Account Restrictions for Outstanding Materials Discuss and consider policies for accounts with outstanding library materials, including potential Libby restrictions and book replacement fees. 4. REVIEW OF UPCOMING EVENTS AND ASSIGNMENTS 4.1. Upcoming Events and Community Outreach Discuss upcoming library and community events, including the social media giveaway, Vineyard Cares on September 28 and Trailside on October 8 4.2. Halloween Event Planning Finalize Halloween event details, determine candy and giveaway needs, and assign responsibilities. 5. STAFF AND COMMISSION REPORTS 5.1. Staff and Board Member Reports Receive updates from Library staff and Board members. A. Library Update - Library operations, programming, and current library updates. B. Utah City Salon Event Recap - Katie will provide a summary and relevant takeaways from the Utah City Salon event. C. Facilities Update - Jane will provide an update regarding potential future library locations and buildings. 6. WORK SESSION 6.1. Youth Council Update and Partnership Discussion Youth Council representatives will provide an update and discuss potential collaboration with the Library Board. 6.2. Library Reimbursement Funds Update Review information regarding reimbursement funds received by the library. 6.3. Programming Survey Update Review the status of the programming survey and discuss next steps. 7. ADJOURNMENT The next meeting is on October 20, 2026 This meeting may be held in a way that will allow a board member to participate electronically. The public is invited to participate in all public meetings.
